Over thirty thousand plants on site at any time to choose from, ranging from 140mm to advanced trees. We are a social enterprise, and our enthusiastic supported employees excel in all stages of plant production. As a licensed grower of many new varieties and reliable favourites we have the ability grow the ideal choice of plant for any project. Year-round availability, established, healthy stock ready to go. We have excellent relationships with other reputable wholesale nurseries to complete your orders at competitive prices.

Billabong Garden Complex is now an official partner of the Over the Counter – Container Deposit Scheme (CDS), providing a convenient local spot for recycling your eligible containers. Bring in your eligible bottles, cans, and cartons, and receive a 10-cent refund per item—or choose to donate your refund to support our ongoing social enterprise programs.
Through the CDS, Billabong not only promotes environmental sustainability but also provides more opportunities for our Supported Employees, who assist with the recycling process and customer service at our refund point. Your recycling efforts help create meaningful employment for people with disabilities and contribute directly to our community-driven initiatives.

The Outdoor Learning Centre at Billabong Garden Complex offers a versatile and inclusive space for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and social gatherings. This purpose-built venue accommodates up to 60 standing or 30 seated guests, making it ideal for professional or community events.
Equipped with audiovisual technology, an outdoor workshop area, and tea and coffee facilities, the Outdoor Learning Centre provides a comfortable and well-resourced setting for your event. Additionally, every booking directly supports ConnectGV’s mission of creating employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities, as our Supported Employees are involved in event preparation and setup.
Available during Billabong Garden Complex’s operating hours, the Outdoor Learning Centre is the perfect venue for a meaningful gathering in Shepparton. (Please note: no liquor license is available.)
